Dr Theresa Ruig has over 20 years’ experience working across the disability, higher education, and corporate sectors. Her career has included senior leadership, academic, and advisory roles, with a focus on strategy, governance and people and culture.
She has direct experience in senior management and governance roles across the blindness sector.
Blind since the age of 10, Dr Ruig brings a strong lived experience perspective to her work and is passionate about ensuring the voices of people with disability shape decision-making and strategy at all levels.
