Yes, we will:

  • Acknowledge your referral and confirm your patient’s details have been received;
  • Advise if your referral is successful; and
  • Outline when we plan to commence services.

We will also notify you if a patient did not receive services due to a number of reasons.

Services and support

Services provided by Vision Australia do incur a cost but we will work with your patients to identify and apply for the funding they’re eligible for. There are several ways patients may access funding including NDIS, My Aged Care and Home Care Packages. In some circumstances, a service will require a minimal client contribution. Your patients can also purchase equipment and services themselves.

Yes, we support patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. Our experts have experience working with early intervention, school age children and adults.
