The Library team are excited to invite you to our new program for 2026. Inspired by this year’s popular “Book Chat with the Vision Australia Librarians”, but with a strong focus on new release titles.
For our upcoming summer edition of this quarterly program, we will be joined by our talented library manager, Sarah Bloedorn. Sarah will discuss the new releases and popular titles, dominating the conversation around the literary table! Sarah will discuss the authors, their previous works, and most importantly, deliver a ‘warts and all’ appraisal of their new novel.
Not to be outdone, your host Maureen O’Reilly will also provide a review of two new release books. There are several new titles on her Santa List, so fingers crossed they arrive in the Christmas stocking!
And then it is your turn! We are inviting Library members to share what they’ve been reading over the summer holidays. This is your opportunity to claim two minutes of fame and become a Vision Australia Library book reviewer.
If everyone gives a review of one book they’ve enjoyed reading, you’re sure to walk away with a fabulous reading list! If you would prefer to sit back and listen, that is perfectly fine – every reviewer needs an audience!
Who is it for?
We welcome everyone to come along and meet our librarians. This is a wonderful opportunity for our Vision Australia Library members and librarians to come together for a fun and informal chat about newly released books.
