The Library team is excited to launch the new year with a crowd favourite: Meet the Vision Australia Library narrators. More importantly, we are delighted to welcome Victoria Howell as our first guest for 2026.
Victoria is one of Vision Australia’s talented narrators, a familiar and much-loved voice for many of our library members. This is a rare opportunity to meet the person behind the recorded voice. You may associate Victoria’s voice with a favourite novel, a treasured character, or a late-night reading marathon! This is your opportunity to discover the real person behind that multi-talented voice.
Join us as we delve in the journey that led Victoria to narrating at Vision Australia. Then we’ll ‘lift the curtain’ on what it’s like to be an audio book narrator: the good, the bad and the ugly!
Victoria will choose a passage from her chosen novel and treat us to a live reading for 20 minutes.
We’ll finish with a lively Q&A, when Victoria fields a myriad of questions posted by our library members. We encourage everyone to submit questions for Victoria during the registration process, or via the chat during the online event.
