Event Description
The Vision Australia Library proudly welcomes Barbara Hannay to be our final guest author for 2025. Our December author reading will focus on Barbara’s newly released novel, ‘Second Chance Family’.
Our Author Reading will commence with an introduction to Barbara, providing an insight into her background and the journey that led to her writing more than 60 books, which have been sold in more than 26 languages.
Barbara will then choose a passage from ‘Second Chance Family’ and treat us to a live reading for 20 minutes.
Our Library members will have the opportunity to post questions via the zoom chat, which will contribute to a lively Q&A to conclude our event.
About Barbara Hannay
Barbara assures us, “yes, miracles really do happen!” Determined to be a published author, Barbara persevered through four and a half years of rejection before her first book was accepted by a publisher.
Two decades have passed since that momentous occasion, and she has written more than sixty books. Barbara has won awards in America and Australia, and her novel ‘Molly Cooper’s Dream Date’ was made into the movie. Dreams really can come true!
