This year, with a few exceptions, Vision Australia offices will be closed from 5pm Thursday December 23, 2021 and will reopen on Monday January 10, 2022.
Our National Contact Centre will be closed from Monday December 27, 2021 to Monday January 3, 2022. The National Contact Centre will be open from Tuesday, January 4 to Friday, January 7, 2022 from 9.00am–5.00pm AEDST. During this time, there will be limited services available. The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) queue (1300 36 54 92) will be operating for DVA clients from Tuesday, January 4 to Friday, January 7, 2022 from 9.00am–5.00pm AEDST otherwise the organisation will be closed for the Christmas break.
Disability Employment Services will be providing services through the Christmas closure. Please call 1300 847 466 for your nearest consultant. Clients will be emailed before shutdown with the contact numbers.
The Vision Australia Library (1800 00 59 65, 1300 65 46 56), donations enquiries (1800 42 20 77, 1800 42 20 07), and Seeing Eye Dogs (1800 03 77 73), will also be open from 9.00am – 5.00pm from the January 4 to 7.
Vision Store
The Vision Store Team’s last working day with be Thursday December 23, 2021. Online orders will continue to be fulfilled from our warehouse during the VA summer break shutdown period and the Vision Store website will be running online during the shutdown period.
Some Vision Store staff will be available to answer calls, emails and web chat from Tuesday January 4, 2022. All Vision Store offices will re-open on Monday January 10.
