Aged Care Professionals Open Day

Event Description

Being blind or having low vision can be common in aged care and it's one of the harder things to know how to respond to well.

This Open Day is a chance to spend a few hours with Vision Australia's team, get familiar with the products and services available to your clients and ask the questions that come up in your day-to-day work. You'll leave with a clearer picture of what good vision support looks like, how Support at Home works, clarity on funding and contracts and know when to refer a client to us.

It also counts as billable hours and contributes to your CPD requirements. Plus we'll have a free breakfast ready when you arrive.

Who is this for?

Open to all aged care providers and workers, including:

• Support workers
• Occupational Therapists (OTs)
• Orientation & Mobility Specialists (O&Ms)
• Assistive Technology, NDIS, and MAC workers
