Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.

In the program for the week of October 27, we continue that series of conversations recorded at Vision Australia's Texpo 2014. Texpo is Vision Australia's annual event showcasing services and technology for people who are blind or have low vision. For this program, we explore some of what was on show relating to electronic magnification and lighting. A highlight is a conversation with a Vision Australia orthoptist who strives to bring some clarity for those choosing from the myriad of available products

Program participants are:
  • Tony Wu, Victorian based Low Vision Consultant with Humanware;
  • John Gaeth, from his company, Australian Independence Products;
  • Khoa Nguyen, an orthoptist with Vision Australia;
  • Jan Withers, from Beon Light;
  • Sierra Asher, developer of the Windows screen enhancing Glassbrick software.
