Contacting Vision Australia is now more convenient than ever before.
From February, Vision Australia’s National Contact Centre (NCC), Vision Store and AT Helpdesk will permanently move to extended operating hours.
The change means the NCC, Vision Store and AT Helpdesk teams will be available via phone on 1300 84 74 66 from 8.30am – 7pm AEDT, Monday to Friday.
The NCC is available to support people with general enquiries about Vision Australia services, while the Vision Store team can facilitate purchases and enquiries about Vision Australia retail items.
The AT Helpdesk is available to support people with general information and advice about technology that can assist people who are blind or have low vision
Karen Knight, Vision Australia general manager client services, said Vision Australia believes the extended operating hours will be popular.
“Through December and January we trialed extended hours for our Vision Store equipment sales team. The volume of calls we had showed that people really liked having the convenience of being able to contact us at a time that suits them, so we’re excited to offer that permanently,” Karen said.
“Whether it’s buying equipment, troubleshooting technology issues or just answering general queries, the extended hours mean we’ll be able to help more people when they need it.”
During normal business hours, the NCC, Vision Store and AT Helpdesk are also all available via email:
