Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.

In the program for the week of November 3, we continue that series of conversations recorded at Vision Australia’s Texpo 2014. Texpo is Vision Australia’s annual event showcasing services and technology for people who are blind or have low vision. In this program, you can here more from Humanware about on this occasion, their blindness products. We meet a visitor who has journeyed from northern Queensland to be at Melbourne Texpo and we speak with the man behind the remarkable voice controlled audio reader which is known as RealSam.

Program participants are:
  • Ramona Mandy, Senior Blindness Products Consultant with Humanware;
  • Barbara Gudgeon from Cairns in Northern Queensland;
  • Nick Howden, from Real Thing providers of RealSam.
Also this week, Frances Keyland from the Vision Australia Library previews another title in ‘Reader recommended.
