Vision Australia

Vision Australia is committed to working with the community on raising awareness of blindness and low vision through training and education.

The Way I See is an interactive program for people of all ages. Our presenters visit schools, businesses, club, community group, or up-skilling staff, to discuss and provide engaging experiences. These may include demonstrating of the challenges met in daily life by people who are blind or have low vision and the strategies and creative ways they manage these and harness their independence.

Each session can be tailored to your organisations needs. These sessions require minimum booking of three hours (this includes travel, tailoring program to your needs, and the presentation) and charged at $200 per an hour plus GST.

Vision Australia Seeing Eye Dogs

Enjoy engaging presentations and sessions from Vision Australia Seeing Eye Dogs presenters through The Way I See interactive program.

Suitable for audiences of all ages, our presenters can visit schools, businesses, clubs and community groups to deliver these sessions.

Presentations may include information about how Seeing Eye Dogs support people who are blind or have low vision, as well as opportunities to interact with puppies in training or working Seeing Eye Dogs. Each session can be tailored to an organisation’s needs.

Sessions require a minimum booking of one hour (inclusive of travel, program tailoring and presentation delivery) and are charged at $200 per hour plus GST.
