Karen Knight

Karen has been blind since birth. She is a registered psychologist with previous experience in mental health, youth suicide prevention and mental health promotion.

Director – National Disability Insurance Scheme
Graeme joined Vision Australia in 1995 and the leadership team in April 2013

John Gow

General Manager People & Culture
John joined Vision Australia in 2005, quite soon after the merger of the previous state based organisation.

Linda Hornsey

General Manager Business Transformation
Linda joined Vision Australia in February 2010 when she was recruited to the position of Government Relations Manager. Over the past few years, she has worked on a number of projects, including managing the development of the new Strategic Plan 2014-18.

Michael Simpson

General Manager New South Wales/ACT and Alternative Information Services
Michael has worked in the blindness sector for over 35 years, serving as National President of Blind Citizens Australia for 7 years, and holding senior positions with Vision Australia

Leigh Garwood

General Manager, Victoria, South Australia and Seeing Eye Dogs
In 2008, following SEDA’s merger with Vision Australia, Leigh continued as General Manager of SEDA before expanding his role to become General Manager of all client services across Victoria in 2013.

David Speyer
