Meet the 2022 Vision Australia Bursary Recipients

New South Wales

Miss Marta Georges is enrolled in Certificate 4 Marketing & Communications at TAFE NSW. The bursary has awarded Marta ZoomText Fusion with Software Maintenance, HP Zbook laptop, Apple iPad Air with Apple Pencil and Keyboard Case, 23.8” monitor with HDMI Cable, Adjustable laptop stand, Microsoft Sculpt Mouse, a Bluetooth Keyboard and 2 Large Print Keyboard Stickers.

Miss Mia Armsworth is studying Bachelor of Fine Arts in RMIT University in Melbourne.  The bursary awarded Mia with MacBook Pro, iPhone X, iPad Pro including smart keyboard, Apple pencil, Magic mouse, smart leather iPad cover and Microsoft Office home and student 2019.

Each year, Vision Australia awards Further Education Bursaries to a select number of students who are blind or have low vision.

The bursaries provide adaptive technology to help the students fully participate and succeed in their chosen studies.
