Join like-minded adventurers as we explore Brisbane’s vibrant Cultural Centre Precinct.

Hosted by Orientation and Mobility specialist Bashir Ebrahim OAM and Dr John MacPherson from the Department of Main Roads and Transport, this Travel Day experience will give you the opportunity to explore the Brisbane Cultural precinct starting with the Cultural Centre Busway access and connections to Brisbane Museum, GOMA (Gallery of Modern Art), Queensland State Library and QPAC (Qld Performing Arts Centre). This travel day includes links to the Brisbane River Boardwalk, cafes and restaurants, as well as onward connection to the South Bank precinct, South Bank Railway Centre, South Brisbane Railway Station and Brisbane Busway.

All travel days will require you to be of a moderate to high level of fitness. You are welcome to bring a companion if you wish. There will be the opportunity to stop and purchase lunch, but please remember to bring a hat, sunscreen, water, PPE and anything else you may need.

Travels Days may be covered by your NDIS plan, My Aged Care funding, or can be privately funded. Please contact us to discuss your payment options.

Bookings are essential as places are limited. Events will be guided by Australian Government guidelines regarding COVID-19 protocols and safety.

To book your spot, please email Bashir Ebrahim at or call us on 07 3727 2345.
