A fun and interactive 8-week course for those interested in learning how to write a novel.

Join fellow writers who are blind or have low vision as we explore this interesting writing style.

Over the 8-week course, we will cover:

  1. Brainstorming and mind-mapping an idea for a novel
  2. Identifying genres and deciding which genre to write in
  3. Developing and outlining a plot
  4. Creating and Developing characters
  5. Mechanisms of dialogue
  6. Developing a writing practice and creating goals
  7. Editing skills
  8. Publishing

You will also have the opportunity to share practical tips and tricks used to write, edit and record your work using assistive technology and learn different strategies to move into the broader writing community in your local area.

Please note that you will need to have a good level of skill with any assistive technology you may require to help you write and edit your work as part of this course.
