Helen has worked in senior management roles within the health sector for the past 12 years. Helen has a focus on being people centred; providing high quality services; collaboration; being accessible; and facilitating well trained and supported staff.
Helen has worked for the Nelson Marlborough District Health Board in New Zealand and has held a number of positions during her tenure, more recently the position of Service Manager Women Child and Youth, a district wide role focussed on joining up and connecting women child and youth health services across community, primary and secondary systems. Helen has a background in health promotion and community and public health.
Helen has a Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Human Movement) as well as Advanced Diplomas of Business Management and Human Resource Management. She has an avid interest in the outdoors and regularly competes in adventure racing, surf lifesaving, regaining and ultra-running.
In March 2015, Helen returned to Australia in with her husband and two teenage daughters to take up the role of Regional Manager Barwon, South West and Grampians.
