Vision Australia’s top tips for Summer Holiday Reading from our latest webinar

04 December 2015

On Wednesday December 2nd at 7.30pm AEDT, Vision Australia held its second webinar for members of the blind and low vision community. The Summer Holiday Reading webinar talked through our recommended reads for the summer from our expert library team. We also covered how to access books, magazines and newspapers when on the move (or at the beach!) including through the new Vision Australia Connect app.

The webinar was run as a Q&A discussion, where participants could listen to our four fantastic panellists and ask questions live via email or SMS text message.

Our 4 panellists for the Summer Holiday Reading webinar were:

  • Anne Ford, Community Engagement Librarian at Vision Australia
  • Anthea Taylor, Manager Accessible Information Library Service at Vision Australia
  • Jamie Kelly, Online Training & Support Officer at Vision Australia
  • Stephen Jolley, Vision Australia Library Ambassador and radio host
