LED Battery Handle - changing batteries

The LED battery handle uses light-emitting diodes (LED) globes instead of regular light globes. LED globes are 'life-long' globes and do not require replacing. They also do not use up battery power as quickly as other globes.

Changing the batteries

  1. The batteries are located in the handle of the magnifier.
  2. Unscrew the bottom of the handle (the magnifying head can remain attached) to release the batteries. See photograph.
  3. Replace with two C type batteries with the pointy end first.
  4. Return the bottom to the base of the handle by screwing it back onto the handle.
