New puppy additions to the Warrnambool office
21 September 2009

Puppies were placed with their carers.

Warrnambool Mayor Michael Neoh presented blue puppy coats to the carers.
Wednesday 16 September saw the arrival of seven beautiful black Seeing Eye Dog Labrador puppies to Warrnambool.
These are the first of many pups to be placed in and around Warrnambool as part of SEDA's (Seeing Eye Dogs Australia) puppy program.
Carers were met at Vision Australia's Warrnambool office by SEDA General Manager Leigh Garwood and Warrnambool Mayor Michael Neoh. They presented each carer with a blue coat for the puppies.
The puppies will stay with their carers until they are approximately 12 months old before going back to the SEDA headquarters in Kensington for formal training.
The first photo shows the following people and pups: Front row from left to right are Wayne Hine with Skye, Hayley Cowan with Smartie, Helen Flanders with Sooty, Dianne Friebe with Shelley, Coralee Askew with Snoopy. Back row from left to right are Leigh Garwood, Michael Neoh, David Stapleton with pup to be named by a competition in the local paper, Georgina Gubbins with Sonic.
