Catherine Birchall revs into Sydney

Cathy and Bernard have embarked on a journey around the world on the back of a motorbike.
The journey aims to raise awareness around sight loss and generate funds for services in the UK.
On Wednesday 18 March, Cathy Birchall visited Vision Australia Enfield. Cathy is a blind adventurer from Cheshire in the United Kingdom who has embarked on a journey around the world on the back of a motorbike with her partner, Bernard Smith. The journey aims to raise awareness around sight loss and also to generate funds for services in the UK.
Cathy and her partner Bernard have travelled a whopping 20,000kms to reach Sydney and have so far visited Ireland, France, Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Greece, Turkey, Pakistan, India and Nepal, Thailand and Australia.
They enthralled clients and staff from Sydney with their amazing stories and experiences that have also been documented on their official website.
On completing her journey, Cathy will become the first person who is blind to circumnavigate the world on a motorcycle.
