As users of Vision Australia services, clients are in a prime position to offer a perspective on the effectiveness and efficiency of all aspects of the Organisation.
In acknowledging this fact, Vision Australia has developed and introduced an ambitious client consultative model that engages clients in meaningful consultation from the grass roots through to the Board and Executive.
Underpinning Vision Australia's client consultative framework, is the principle of democracy, where clients determine who represents their interests to the Organisation. The framework is also broad enough to incorporate the need for more detailed consultation around specific services and provides an option for service focused committees to be formed.
