Vision Australia's merger with Seeing Eye Dogs Australia has provided an opportunity to enhance the way we provide Orientation and Mobility services to continue to efficiently and effectively meet the needs of our client groups.

The Seeing Eye Dogs Orientation and Mobility department brought together Orientation and Mobility (O&M) specialists and Seeing Eye Dog instructors from Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. This department is led by Leigh Garwood, the new General Manager of Seeing Eye Dogs and Mobility, and former head of Seeing Eye Dogs Australia.

Our Orientation and Mobility staff assess and train people who are blind or have low vision in orientation and mobility skills to maintain independence and quality in their lives.
