i-access® Online
"i-access® Online" delivers audio and text DAISY books and magazines, braille books and braille music, newspapers and podcasts to clients via the internet. There are a number of ways to read the downloads. Books, magazines and newspapers with portable players like the Plextalk Pocket, and the Victor Reader Stream. There are also a range of DAISY software players available for both PC and Mac. Examples of these include Dolphin EaseReader, AMIS, Read:OutLoud.
The i-access® Online service can be used by Library Clients on any PC that has the i-access® Downloader software installed. This software can be downloaded directly from the i-access® Online website. A URL link option is available for Mac users or anyone who is unable to use the i-access ® Downloader to download files. Zipped files will be saved individually by clicking on each link provided and then selecting "Save". To activate URL downloads choose the "URL Downloads" option in the "Profile Page".
There are now over 120 Australian newspapers available members. To view the Newspapers, select the appropriate link below or download the Excel spreadsheet.
