Finding solutions

Vision Australia offers advice and training in adaptive technology to assist with communicating and accessing information.

Our specialist staff assess a person's requirements in their home, school or workplace then recommend equipment or strategies to meet their individual needs.

The range of options includes computers with screen readers or print enlarging software, plus scanners, portable note-takers and modified mobile phones. Clients are given the opportunity to test the technology before our specialists make a final recommendation.

Our staff can also suggest technology suppliers in local areas.

A helpdesk service is available to offer advice, solve problems with adaptive technology and assist with installing software.
