Digital Library Services - Spring Appeal 2010

Dawson Ko

Less than 5% of printed material is accessible to someone whose vision is impaired. Without access to information, news and entertainment, a person who is blind or has low vision often feels out of touch, ill-informed and excluded from their community. The impact can be socially, professionally and emotionally debilitating.

Vision Australia helps to close this information gap and we need your help.

Seeing Eye Dogs Australia Spring Appeal 2010

Susan and Bronte

More puppy sponsors are urgently needed so that more puppies can grow up to become Seeing Eye Dogs. As puppy sponsor you will receive photos and regular updates so you can follow your puppy from the time they begin their training, right though to graduation.

Currently 64 puppies are about to start their critical training, but to keep up with growing number of Australians being diagnosed with vision-affecting conditions, it needs to increase to 100 next year, and 120 by 2012.
